2024 - RUDi x MARS
In co-operation with MARS and EDEKA KOCHmarkt RUDi was tested in three different campaigns. The first RUDi variant - like conventional disposable displays - was assembled and delivered to the stores fully stocked. This display was then redesigned directly in the store and filled with other goods. A Twix and Balisto display was turned into a Mixed Minis display and then into an M&M display.
These are the findings from the test:
♻️ The RUDi reusable display base is very stable and is suitable for multiple use
💡 Redesigning the in-store display is easy, but the time constraints of daily operations must be taken into account when scaling up
🌍 Reusable display solutions save cardboard and increase lorry capacity utilisation
🤝 Changing display processes requires collaboration to reach a standard
MARS:
„Research into reusable display solutions such as RUDi® is an important part of our commitment to achieve net zero emissions worldwide by 2050 and to rethink packaging. We believe that this is only possible in close collaboration with our customers, suppliers and partners who are willing to work with us to develop innovative and sustainable solutions.“

2024 - RUDi x Schwartau
In co-operation with Schwartau and Edeka RUDi with HOODiE was tested for the first time! Here, too, the focus was on the process chain, but Schwartau's innovative display construction was also scrutinised.
Six displays were assembled by Schwartau using the new process and delivered to Edeka's central warehouse in the usual way. There, the RUDi display base impressed with its high robustness and stability. RUDi passed smoothly through the processes in the distribution center before being distributed to the various stores.
Handling at the point of sale was particularly easy: the cardboard packaging only had to be torn open at the marked and labelled points and folded over - an uncomplicated and time-saving process, according to store employees. The display proved to be a real eye-catcher and the goods were sold out in no time at all.

2024 - RUDi x Intersnack
In mid-2024, RUDi was put through its paces in collaboration with Intersnack and Edeka. The focus was on the entire process chain: How does RUDi behave as it passes through Edeka's central warehouse? Are there any special conspicuous features or potential for optimisation? What advantages does it offer - and are there any aspects that need to be considered?
For the test, six displays were delivered to various stores via the distribution center. Two RUDi display bases were attached to our quarter pallet and fitted with cardboard inserts. The goods were stacked in trays on RUDi. Wrapping with stretch film was sufficient for transport to the distribution center and the stores; an additional transport cover was not required.
RUDi passed through the processes in the distribution center without any problems before it was delivered to the various stores.
Neither the store staff nor the customers consciously noticed RUDi - it simply did exactly what it was designed to do: carry the goods as a reliable display base and at the same time provide space for the brand message.

2023 - RUDi x REWE Nord
In co-operation with REWE Nord, RUDi was used and tested in 378 stores over a period of six months. This involved the use of 1,530 RUDi displays, which were not placed on a display pallet but on a dolly.
The displays were to be used for Rewe's private label products ‘Rewe - Beste Wahl’ and ‘Rewe - Bio’. The stores were free to decide when to place which goods on them.
The positive feedback from store employees and managers:
- diverse and flexible design options at the POS, e.g. single or multiple displays in combination for seasonal promotions
- consistent visual appearance throughout the entire service life
- smaller quantities of goods can also be presented attractively
- flexible use for various (own) brands
- can be used selectively
- easy to fill with shelf-ready packaging
- display is more flexible and faster to move due to Dolly
Conclusion:
- Process optimisation: less effort and better handling
- Increased efficiency: permanently neat and attractive presentation of goods
- Sustainable: less waste and a positive contribution to the environment
