Eindhoven, 15 APRIL 2025 – IPP, member of Faber Group, is taking the next step in making supply chains more sustainable and digital with the launch of Faber LABS, the new tech division of Faber Group. The new office, located in the historic Gruyterfabriek in ’s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, was officially opened by Ingrid Faber, CEO of Faber Group, and Ralph Geers, alderman of the municipality of ’s-Hertogenbosch.
With the launch of Faber LABS, Faber Group is accelerating its transformation into a data-driven organisation. Thanks to smart technologies and connected pooling services, load carriers such as pallets and crates can be tracked and managed more efficiently — resulting in less waste and lower CO2 emissions. Faber Group aims to reduce CO2 emissions for its customers through these services, targeting a yearly reduction of at least 58 kilotons by 2030. In 2024, the group with its divisions already achieved a reduction of 40 kilotons. The initiative also supports Faber Group’s ambition to strengthen its top-tier Platinum Ecovadis rating – a leading benchmark for business sustainability.
CEO Ingrid Faber: “With Faber LABS, we’re fulfilling our promise to take circularity and transparency to the next level. Data and digitalisation are essential for maintaining and strengthening our leadership in the industry.”
Faber LABS focuses on developing innovative digital solutions for customers, including real-time tracking through IoT, data-driven reporting, and improved supply chain management. The division is set to grow to 65 team members in 2025, creating new opportunities for innovation across the transport and logistics sector.
