Pallet Recovery

As pallet poolers, we ensure that IPP pallets are used as efficiently as possible throughout supply chains. However, pallets have been mysteriously missing from our pool. Where do our pallets disappear to? From ending up in a dark corner in a warehouse, completely forgotten or in de hands of a pallet dealer. Every missing pallet comes at a price, in terms of sustainability and costs.

No magic, just logic

No IPP pallets have to become waste because we can reuse them in our sustainable pallet pool. But our pallets disappear for various reasons: bad datamanagement, misplacement, theft, or simply being forgotten in a warehouse corner.

Implementing better tracking, regular inventories and a proactive approach to recovery, can help combat this issue, because pallets don’t just magically disappear.

Found any pallets? Report them through our collection form!

Sustainable impact

Losing pallets is more than just a logistical inconvenience; it’s a sustainability concern. Each lost pallet wastes resources and increases carbon footprints.

With the IPP closed pooling system 82-85% less CO2 is emitted versus one way pallets. But the more efficient we can reuse our IPP pool pallets, the more sustainable we manage our supply chains.

No pallets to waste

As legal owner of the distinctive brown pallets, we know that every missing pallet is one to many. Our clients are responsible for the cost of replacing lost pallets, and we both bear the cost in terms of lost time. Ultimately, we all pay the price.

Keep an eye open. Conduct regular inventories. Keep your system updated. Or stay in touch with our Pallet Recovery Specialists for honest advice without any trickery.

How to ensure swift pallet recovery

Do you have IPP-pallets in your possession? Here are 5 tips for an easy pallet recovery.

  1. Deregister your pallets within two weeks after a dispatch
  2. The sooner you send us your dispatch data, the better we can guide you and check if everything is correct
  3. Please provide us with the address of the final destination of your pallets, not the location of the transport partner
  4. Contact us to see what the possibilities are for automation in your data management through for example EDI connections
  5. Also return or report broken pallets, we can repair them and use them over and over

And of course, keep your eyes open for brown IPP pallets all the time.

When you are no client of IPP, you can also report found IPP pallets through this collection form!
